Being such a huge fan of Jim and Pam, I am so, so, soooo excited for this.

I may have my own little wedding celebration as I watch . . . and cry . . . just a little . . . come on, how could you not? Happy endings are the best.

Parking Deck Conversation aka Why Marie Might Want to Get a Hepatitis Shot

The scene: A parking deck in downtown SLC
The players: Marie, Parking Attendant

Marie pulls up to booth as she prepares to exit the parking deck. She rolls down her window and holds out her ticket.

Marie: Hi.

Parking Attendant: (As he awkwardly takes the ticket) Sorry. I just put lotion on my hands.

Marie: That's fine.

Parking Attendant: Yeah, someone just handed me a ticket with something gross on it. I won't even tell you what it was - it was so gross.

Marie: (Beginning to be slightly horrified) O . . . kay.

Parking Attendant: Yeah, it was disgusting.

Marie: (Hoping he doesn't add any more details) Huh.

Parking Attendant: (Shows zero balance for the ticket on his screen) Well, okay. (Turns to grab something below Marie's view) Here you go.

Attendant holds out a Halloween-themed bowl with a fake hand sticking out of it. The bowl is half-filled with candy.

You can take more than one.

Marie: (Contemplating whether or not she wants to be rude or not. Hoping for good karma, she takes a piece of gum) Um, thanks.

Parking Attendant: Have a good day.

Marie drives away and rolls window back up. She puts the gum down, knowing she will never allow it anywhere near her mouth, and hopes nothing from the previous patron's "gross" ticket has ended up in her car. She wonders if her last hepatitis shot is still any good. Hmm.
