One Dream Has Come True

Yes, it was as awesome as I'd hoped it would be.

The title has been handed from Johnny to Ryan, and I fully approve.

And yes, I could have put a gratuitous shirtless pictures of Ryan, {heaven knows there are plenty} but I'm trying to keep it classy.

Trying, I said.  Who knows what might show up when I'm having a bad day?

Oh, who cares?  Bad day, schmad day.  He just won a title, and we should celebrate.

Halloween 2010

This is coming a little later than I planned, but that's okay.  Halloween!  I love it, and this year was fun in its own special way.  I only had two costumes, which is a little disappointing, but there's always next year.

Work Costume - Slash

My fabulous and fun co-worker, Nichole, suggested that we dress as Axel and Slash, and I thought that was a fabulous idea.  I think we both look like rock stars, don't you?

Friend's Costume - Bambi's Dead Mom

Each year my friends and I have a theme.  It's always fun because we have a theme that ties us together, but we still get to be individually creative.  This year we decided to have our theme be Disney sidekicks.  Now, I'm not the biggest Disney fan, so I was having a little trouble coming up with something I liked.  Then my wonderful sister threw out the idea of being Bambi's mom.  I instantly loved it because the costume fit with the theme, but I could still have some gore.  The final outcome wasn't exactly what I wanted {I think I looked more like a kangaroo}, but it was still awesome.

As I previously mentioned, I got to spend this year with my niece and three little nephews for Halloween.  I think the Three Musketeers look quite dashing.  And adorable beyond words.

All in all, another sensational year.  And I have less than 12 months to come up with more fantastic costumes.  Suggestions are always welcome.

And Then . . . They were Friends

Today at 3:42 pm, after 10 months of aquaintanceship, my friendship with my co-worker, Nichole, became fully realized.

Nichole: Um, Marie?

Me: Yeah.

Nichole: Can I ask you something?

Me: Of course.

Nichole: Would you pick the hairs off my back for me?
{Please note - she was referring to the stray hairs that fell off her head and got stuck to her shirt, not her actual back}

Me: It would be my honor . . . friend.
