Running down a dream

One of my awesome friends, Meg, ran the St. George Marathon at the beginning of October. She's cool like that. A group of us went down to support and cheer for her. She asked some of us to meet her along the race route and help her finish. Boy, were we excited when it rained the entire race. Yeah, only the second time in the history of the race that it's rained. Lucky us.

Meg was a trooper and finished (yeah, she's pretty much awesome). I don't have a picture of her because, really, who wants to be photographed during or after a 26-mile run? But I was there, and she did it.

Here's some of us waiting for her to come along so we could start running with her. Yes, Milskie and Griz are wearing garbage bags, and I look like some sort of odd shepherd. So what. It was raining.
