What do I say?

You know how when there's an event you're really, really looking forward to, and then you go to it, and you've been so excited and so worked up that your expectations are too high and you just end up being disappointed and feeling let down with the reality of it?

Well, I can safely say that the New Kids on the Block concert was nothing like that.

It was FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!!

Seriously, I could die now and have a majority of my life expectations fulfilled.

So, let me give you the low down. The concert was last Saturday night at the E-Center. I went with one of my sisters and a friend {Shout-out to Em who missed the concert due to puking. I did scream and yell just for you. The fellas missed you. I could sense it.}.

We had floor seats, which I was a bit worried about once we got there because I am not large in stature and was afraid I'd miss a lot. But, thankfully, I didn't. They had three huge screens that helped Miss Shorty a ton.

The fellas opened with "Single" and had the crowd screaming for the next two hours. One of the best parts was that at one point they sang on a circular stage in the middle of the floor. I was, like, 15 feet from them. I know. So awesome.

I have to thank a friend who was also at the show and got great pictures. Here are a few:

So, I have been {and always will be} a Joey Mc girl. He basically started the show, singing lead on "Single." It was pretty awesome.

The fellas sang "Please Don't Go Girl" including my very favorite part where Joey speaks the words, "I'm gonna always love you girl." He even got down on his knees for me. He really wants me to stay. I'll stay, Joey, I'll stay.

These guys had more costume changes than any other group/performer I've ever seen. They ended with a shout-out to Beantown in their Celtics jerseys. Looking good, so, so good.
Yes, it was absolutely fantastic. I would go see them again in a heartbeat. Now the only disappointment is that it's over. Sigh.
