I realized earlier today that I haven't posted a single thing yet for the month of February. I don't like to post just for the sake of posting, so I tried to come up with a worthy and worthwhile topic. And then it came to me -- my sister T who just happens to be celebrating her birthday today. What's better than sisters and birthdays? Very, very, very few things.
So, in T's honor, I've listed some things that she loves:
Just about everyone in my family loves reading {Woo, I'm not singling you out :)}, but I know for a fact that T does. We've even been in a book club together. She's introduced me to some great books, including one of my all-time favorites, The Bean Trees. I love that we share this interest and can chat about authors and books and other reading-related things.

Happy happy birthday
Anyone who knows T at all knows that she luuuuves Jordan Knight. That's right--her feelings are that strong. In our younger days, we rocked out to the New Kids together and watched their concert shown on the Disney Channel we had secretly taped. It was awesome. But not quite as awesome as going to the New Kids concert this past fall and seeing them in person. I can't think of anyone else I would have rather gone to the concert with. We had Such. A. Blast. One of the best parts was watching T just totally enjoy herself and the music and the moment. I love that I got to share that with her.
Another love in T's life is the Atlanta Braves. Our fandom goes way back. We went to the "Mormon Night with the Braves" games back when Dale Murphy was the big star and they hardly won any games. T kept following them even after we moved out west, and she quickly became a fan of Chipper Jones, their amazing 3rd baseman. She even named a fish after him. He and the Braves are pretty great. Just ask T; she'll tell you.
Anyway, I'm so happy to have such a great sister and happy that I get to celebrate her being around. Have a great day, T. Peace out. :)
