I recommend . . .

On occasion I have reason to be out and about around lunchtime. As I'm driving around I like to tune into 90.1 FM if it's between 11:00 and 12:00. Why you ask? Because that gives me a chance to listen to KUER's Radio West {the show is also re-broadcast at 7:00 or you can download a podcast}.

I happen to love this radio show, and well, there are lots or reasons to love it. The topics for the shows range from political to culinary to religious to entertaining to everything in between. The guests are usually well-spoken and well-versed in their areas of expertise. Since the show originates from Salt Lake City, many of the issues discussed are relevant to our area. However, the show is also broadcoast nationally, so there are many viewpoints shared in phone calls and emails. And I almost always learn something new or exciting or thought-provoking.

But the main reason I listen is so I can hear my radio crush, Mr. Doug Fabrizio. He has one of the best radio voices around, and he has a great way of drawing out his guests. Honestly, I could listen to him read the dictionary. He is quite delightful.

You should definitely tune in.
