Tea at 2:00

Remember how Megan had a birthday? Well, we not only had cake, we had tea. A few of us gathered to celebrate in style. Megan invited us to dress up, including a fabulous hat. As you can see, we did not let her down.

The lady of the hour and me

How cute is our tea room?

Hmmm. I wonder if I could dress like this every day? I was definitely born in the wrong decade.

Yes, I could get used to this get-up.
*BTW, that's my grandma's hat I'm wearing. Isn't is just fab-u?

Awesome!! Do other people dress-up like this or just you crazies. BTW, I love your red lipstick. I just bought some at MAC and my mom told me I looked like a clown. And I thought I was a 1920s babe.

Okay, I have a hat from my great-grandmother that totally rivals yours. Mine looks more like a flapper-style hat, which makes me wonder what I DON'T know about g.grandma. But anyway, I want to know where you got the broach (BTW, I checked the spelling, and while that doesn't look right to me, it is, according to dictionary.com, which I'm sure is always right), and I can't tell from the pictures, but it appears that you are wearing matching earrings?? Fabulous.

Okay, now you need to post a picture of your hat because I would love to see it.

And the broach and matching earrings are actually my mom's. She wore them back in the 50s. I'll let her know you like them. :)
