Make Some Noise

You know how sometimes you talk about doing something, but that's all it ever is - talk. Well, I decided, instead of being a talker, I would be a do-er. Ever since a very good friend gave me a guitar that she found in a house she bought {hey, Beck!}, I've been saying that I want to take guitar lessons. I've dinked around a little bit, having people show me some stuff, but I've never had actual lessons.

Until now.

I signed up for a community ed class, and I started last night. I'm no Eric Clapton {yet}, but at least I've started. And I thought I would set a goal to make sure I practice. So hopefully by the end of the class I'll be able to play this {even though I won't sound quite as cool or have quite as many tattoos}:



And if things work out well, I even have a band name all ready.
