The Mack Family

My wonderful brother-in-law had a missionary companion named Denny Mack.  In the years since they've returned, they have kept in touch.  They have each married and had kids.  On a recent trip to visit my sister and brother-in-law, I learned the incredibly sad news that Denny's sweet wife, Wendy, passed away from a congenital heart defect while 8 months pregnant.  Their premature baby passed away a couple of days after Wendy.

I've blog-stalked the Macks through my sister's blog because their family is so sweet and cute, and to find this out was like finding out a friend I had never met passed away.  Recently I read through the things Denny wrote about Wendy and felt like I should do something.  But I had no idea what.  Just the other day he updated the blog with some more things on Wendy and Maylee, the baby they lost.  He also added a link to a website put up by some of their friends.  These friends are trying to help Denny and his family out because, due to her condition, Wendy had no health coverage.  So now, Denny is responsible for paying off the hospital and funeral bills, all while trying to take care of himself and three kids.

Please, please, please help out if you can.  As they mention on the website, any amount helps.  Skip lunch or dinner out this week, don't go see the movie at the full-price theater, buy cheaper brands at the grocery store for one trip, make whatever sacrafice you feel you can.  Please help.  Even though I don't know the Macks personally, I know that they will appreciate anything you can do for them at this time.
